MunchaCruncha is a start-up business that promotes local ‘meal deals’, between restaurants and customers.Lucas Melbourne was approached to transform a business idea into a tangible working brand. We were also needed to strategically construct communication channels between specials offered by venues and a potentially new clients base.
Solution
Our response was a fresh, unique and friendly brand that’s easily understood by everyone. We designed a flexible system that could be tailored to suit different venues.Originally a web based service, Lucas Melbourne proposed the use of an iPhone app. The app takes advantage of GPS functionality on mobile devices - new customers are alerted about specials in their area and then given directions to venues.
The MunchaCruncha brand was launched in early 2011. The company is currently building its database of venues and specials. Ambient campaigns and events are appearing across inner Melbourne. These events are being publicized through social media platforms. The MunchaCruncha iPhone app is in its development phase and will be available later this year.
